My card today is a special card I made for my best friend’s birthday. I don’t get to see her as much as I would like and of course, its been even less this year, due to Covid19. I wanted to send her something more than just the usual Happy Birthday and with the dimension of the stunning Peony dies, it seemed perfect.
Its such a pretty suite of products which, in true Stampin’ Up! style, coordinate beautifully. Although when you open the dies for the first time you may think it looks really complicated but it is so simple to build a real statement floral element. I just lightly inked up the individual pieces of card using Petal Pink ink using a dauber before putting it all together.
The dimensions for my card are as follows:
Card Base
Whisper White Thick Card measuring 4-1/8″ x 11-3/4″ scored and folded at 5-7/8″
Card Front
Peony Garden DSP measuring 3″ x 3″
A4 Whisper White Card – enough to cut out Peony Dies and approximately 4″ x 4″ piece for frame
Scraps of Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz and Black Card
