Hi Crafters
Todays card is a really simple design using just scraps of cardstock in different shades of green. I layered this up with a beautiful gold fern from the Forever Gold Lasercut Speciality Paper. its so eye catching you really dont need to add any other embelishments.
I just finished it off with a heat embossed sentiment on a small trip of black card using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set which has a really great set of sentiments and is so versatile.
Card Base
Thick Whisper White Card measuring 5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″ scored and folded at 4-1/8″
Card Front
Soft Seafoam Cardstock, Pear Pizzazz Cardstock, Just Jade Cardstock and Shaded Spruce Cardstock all measuring approximately 1-1/2″ x 3″ torn at the edges
Gold Foil Speciality Laser Cut Paper
A Strip of Basic Black Cardstock for Sentiment
I’ve made this as a birthday card but to be honest, I think it looks a bit Christmassy. What do you think?
