Springtime Foils Shaker

I always used to admire other people’s Shaker cards but never really bothered attempting one of my own. That was until Stampin’ Up! released their Adhesive Foam Strips. Then there was no stopping me. They do make the constructing of Shaker Cards so much easier.

The Springtime Foils Designer Series Papers are free from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue with an order of £45 and works so well with a variety of techniques. The papers take colour particularly well whether it be the classic inks, the blends or watercolour pencils.

On this project I coloured the floral paper with blends and fussy cut some of the leaves and petals which I used to frame the shaker window. The sentiment used is from the Petal Pallette Suite.

The foiled lined paper on the front of the card keep things really simple but very effective. Not half bad for freebies are they?
