Just over a week ago, I was made redundant from my office job where I had worked part-time for almost 7 years. Unfortunately I was self employed so didn’t get a nice little redundancy package.
I spent a week feeling a little sorry for myself but then realised that this gave me the opportunity to pour all my efforts into my Stampin Up!
So I started running monthly classes at my local Church Community Centre. I have to say, things are going pretty well so far (touch wood). The above picture is of items we made in our last class.
I am really enjoying coming up with projects and prepping all the kits for the classes. So much so that I have arranged another monthly class in a neighbouring town. This was mainly down to a couple of the ladies who attended my last class saying they didn’t have any classes local to them. Well I didn’t take much persuading, within the week I had organised a venue, dates and projects and it’s full steam ahead!
I guess this really proves the saying that “as one door closes, another one opens”. I know its early days but I cant be happier. I have classes booked, projects made, more time to actually post on my blog and have the Stampin Up Onstage Local Convention to look forward to in a couple of weeks.
I am really looking forward to sharing my projects and my Stampin Up journey here on my blog.
Thank you for stopping by and watch this space.
