Pootles Colour Challenge 002

You are Fabulous

I am very excited to take part in the new Pootles Colour Challenge 002. A weekly challenge to enter an original card or 3d design using only the colours chosen for the week.

This is week number two and the colours chosen were Whisper White, Emerald Envy, Smoky Slate and Wisteria Wonder. These aren’t colours I would normally choose to put together which is what makes the challenge so much fun!

Working outside our comfort zone pushes us to come up with something completely different to the style, colours etc that we would naturally gravitate to.

So here is my entry for this week. I have used the Whisper White Thick Cardstock as my card base and have layered Emerald Envy Cardstock and Whisper White Cardstock. The stamp set I have used is the Blooms and Wishes Stamp Set which is currently my new favourite. I have stamped the wreath in Wisteria Wonder Ink, Emerald Envy Ink and Smoky Slate  inks and added some of the In Colour Enamel Shapes and Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set.

I’m really quite pleased with the results. Let me know what you think, I would appreciate any comments.
