Stampin Up

Sale-A-Bration with the Pootlers

Well here we are on another Pootlers Blog Hop but this time using some of the fabulous Sale-a-bration items available with your purchases of £45 multiples.

I have chosen the “So Hoppy Together” stamp set which is just so cute. It features three different frogs along with some small “filler” stamps like a dragonfly, a group of flies and a crown as well as a couple of Sentiments.

I have stamped and coloured one of the frogs with Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends and added an enamel heart which I had in my stash. I layered this image on Granny Apple Green and Whisper White Cardstock and paired it with some matching Organdy Ribbon which was also available as a free Sale-a -Bration item. Unfortunately this 5 roll ribbon pack proved way too popular and the entire stock has sold out and is no longer available. However, on the plus side, there is some fab ribbon in the Annual Catalogue that you can use instead and thereby start another order to earn more Sale-A-Bration freebies.

I layered and stamped the inside just to bring the whole card together and then finished by stamping a sentiment in the bottom right hand corner. Unfortunately I stamped it crooked!

But never fear, the card is not completely ruined. I then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of black card with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Once this had been layered over the mishap, no-one would ever be any the wiser.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you liked my card. Just click on the blue button below to be taken to the next link in the blog hop.
